Day 1

Arrive in Florida and transfer to your hotel.

Florida is the south easternmost U.S. state, with the Atlantic on one side and the Gulf of Mexico on the other. The city of Miami is known for its Latin-American cultural influences and notable arts scene. Orlando is famed for theme parks, including Walt Disney World and Universal Studios.

Day 2

Spend the full day at Universal Studios. In association with Columbia College you will participate in 2 hours Business Master Class. This program consists of 3 targeted learning modules that will allow your group the exclusive opportunity to learn from one of the best in the business.

The students will also get park-to-park access for 2 theme parks and a water park.

Day 3

Today travel to NASA’s Kennedy Space Centre for your 3-day program. Students experience, imagine and interact through brand-new immersive simulators in the new Astronaut Training Experience® Centre, tours of Kennedy Space Centre Visitor Complex, and by solving everyday challenges faced by astronauts.

Day 4

Today train as the next generation of space explorers. Students will join the crew at Kennedy Space Centre as they begin a spectacular new mission simulation including launching, landing and walking on Mars. Perform a spacewalk through exciting and immersive microgravity simulation technology.

Day 5

Today travel to the Red Planet for a day to live and work on Mars Base 1. Set in a landscape of the future, Rookie Astronaut teams have the unique opportunity to travel to Mars through the Mars Transporter Vehicle. Once there, work through the challenges of living on the Martian surface

Day 6

Hear real-life stories from a real veteran NASA astronaut. Work in teams to follow the Engineering Design Process (ask, imagine, plan, create, test, revise) to solve a variety of engineering challenges.

Return to Universal Studios for 2 more Master Class workshops.

Leadership Skills & Personal Development

Leaders have the ability to influence others within an organisation. In this experience, students are asked to take a good look at their own spheres of influence and assess the impact they may potentially make on others. They are provided tools they can use to positively influence their school or work environment and improve their personal people skills.

Day 8

Visit Orlando Science Centre. Students will work together in various STEM challenges starting in a 90-minute lab and progressing to the exhibit floor for an engineering design challenge! Orlando Science Centre is Central Florida’s award-winning, hands-on science museum. There are four floors of interactive exhibit halls, labs and workshops, theatres, and an observatory. Each year 146,000 students and educators participate in  the STEM Discovery Centre educational program

In the afternoon visit The Orlando Eye. Located in the heart of Central Florida, ICON Orlando 360 is an opportunity to see Orlando from a different perspective.

Day 9

Today is another amazing day at Universal. Students will participate in A STEM App Series. This program is a series of independent application programs that were created to align with national education standards and can be experienced individually or together. This program helps students deepen their understanding of how Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics are integrated in the rides and attractions

Day 10

Today you will end your tour with free time in the morning (dependent upon flight timings) and then traveling to the airport for your flight home.
