Take an international flight from Australia to Singapore. Upon arrival in Singapore, your English-speaking guide will be there to welcome and assist you with the transfer and check-in at the hotel.
Our first stop this morning is to visit the Esplanade Theatres on the Bay, which is Singapore’s national performing arts centre. Its year-round line-up of about 3,000 performances presented by Esplanade, its collaboration partners and hirers include a diverse calendar of ticketed and non-ticketed programmes featuring dance, music, theatre, visual arts and more. Learn about architectural qualities together with the ethos behind the management of the arts centre and the development of the arts in Singapore, with a behind the scenes tour. The tour will cover both front-of-house and backstage facilities. We then proceed to the Singapore Art Science Museum.
This morning we visit the National Gallery Singapore. The Gallery showcases more than 8,000 pieces from Singapore’s National Collection, making it one of the world’s largest and most invaluable public collections of Singapore and Southeast Asian modern art from the 19th century to the present day. Students can expect a variety of enlightening programmes including a guided tour. We then proceed to the Singapore Art Museum that focuses on contemporary art in Singapore, Southeast Asia and Asia within the global context. Students will enjoy a guided tour where they will learn about the SAM’s galleries.

Today we proceed to Dialogue in the Dark Singapore to experience everyday situations – in complete darkness. Experience the Signature Tour in the Dark, where students will experience everyday life as a visually impaired person. Accompanied by a blind guide, go through themed rooms that simulate everyday environment. Following this enjoy a full-course lunch meal in complete darkness! You will undergo a transformational yet challenging process in relying on your other senses to help you dine. These are designed for students, to enable them to develop empathy, non-visual communication, confidence and self-awareness. This afternoon, We step into the world of MediaCorp and go behind-the-scenes for a tour like no other! Enjoy a guided tour, where students will be immersed in an interactive journey through our world of media and broadcasting where you can become the star of a TV show, be a radio DJ, try your hand at being a news presenter and much more. Journey through 15 specially curated exhibits that will both thrill and educate you on the fast changing media landscape.
Optional evening tour – Chinatown Markets
This morning we head to the NTU Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore, which is a cluster of international galleries. Join NTU CCA Singapore’s guided school tours, which offer engaging discussions on art, provide opportunities to hone observation skills and develop interpretative thinking for both students and teachers alike. These specially designed school tours are led by NTU CCA Singapore’s curators and will give insight to the exhibiting artists, their works and personal anecdotes, while at the same time, introducing and elaborating on the key themes of each exhibition. Next, we proceed to the Singapore Dance Theatre. The SDT is an ambassador for dance and for Singapore – bridging any divides and differences to establish resonance for both practitioners and audiences through quality performances and engaging educational and outreach activities. Take a peek into the life of a professional ballet company. Walking into a dancer’s workplace and getting behind-the-scene glimpses is another education and learning privilege that SDT offers to our audience. With a structured tour, students get to explore our shoe room, costume sets room and more into a professional dancer’s daily routine and the environment in which these artists work. On our final visit, we proceed to the Gardens by the Bay, which provides students with an opportunity to experience the development of modern Singapore.
Housing more than 250,000 Rare Plants and 18 Supertrees, the park is built to raise the quality of life of Singaporeans by enhancing greenery and flora in the city. Set on 54 hectares the complex consists of two climate conservatories. Appreciate the unique technologies for long-term conservation and sustainability. Students will enjoy the Supertree Grove, OCBC Skyway and two Conservatories along with witnessing the evening Garden Rhapsody light and sound show.
