Day 1
Arrive Fraser Island (D)
Travel to Fraser Island, fly into Hervey Bay and then embark on the beautiful 50 minute ferry ride across to the island.

Night Spotlighting Tour
Grab your torch and join in the search for the unusual and unique nightlife of Fraser Island’s eco-system, including the rare acid frogs. Along with learning about the starts in the southern sky.
Day 2
Fraser Island (B,D)

Ecotourism Talk & Walk
Kingfisher Bay Resort has set benchmarks in ecotourism. So why not take a tour of the resort and see the behind the scenes of everything from the architectural design to activities that minimize the effects on the environment, such as the on-site sewerage facility and recycling utilising worms.
Half day 4WD Itinerary
Driving along Fraser Island’s sand track to Central Station, a former forestry camp. Continue with a walk along the banks of Wanggoolba Creek learning about the flora and fauna that inhabit the region. Finally end the tour with visiting Lake McKenzie and a dip in the crystal clear freshwater lake.
Campfire evening
Sit around the campfire, toast marshmallows and reflect on the day that was. As well as stargazing into the beautiful nights sky.
Day 3
Depart Fraser Island (B)
Breakfast at your accommodation.
Bush Tucker & Medicine Walk
Learn about the unique components of the local bush that provided foods and medicine for both the Butchulla and early European settlers. As well as how to identify the rich source of Australian food and how it can be used in everyday life.
Depart Kingfisher Bay for return journey home.
