In France, students will learn new soccer skills in camps managed by professional teams from the French Professional League 1stdivision. Students will be practicing on the best training facilities and staying in accommodations used by professional teams. They will see how it is to live at the Headquarters of a top French Soccer Team and learn a new soccer style with Bordeaux Soccer Camps in the beautiful Bordeaux region.

Day 1

Depart for Paris on an overnight flight.

Day 2

On arrival Paris board your private coach and transfer to your accommodation.

In the afternoon enjoy a guided walking tour. Walk the famous Champs Elysées from the Place de la Concorde to l’Etoile and climb the Arc de Triomphe. Finish with a visit to the Fans Shop of the Paris Saint Germain F.C located on the Champs Elysées.

Overnight Paris.

Day 3

Today after breakfast discover l’Ile de la Cite on foot, exploring the streets and see its most famous buildings. You will visit the magnificent cathedral of Notre Dame, climb the building and visit its gargoyles.

In the afternoon you will visit the Stade De France. Stroll through the museum and relive the great moments of the history of the Stade de France, its construction, its events and its everyday life. Seated in the middle stand, close your eyes and imagine you are watching the France vs Croatia World Cup final. Your guide will take you round and tell you what goes on behind the scenes. Follow in the footsteps of your idols and be seduced by the magic and the surroundings.

Overnight Paris.

Day 4

This morning you will visit the Musée Grévin, the famous Wax Museum of Paris. Experience the Spirit of Paris of yesterday and of today with astounding scenes, major events of the 20th Century, French history and the latest news. Three hundred wax figures are waiting to meet you, to be photographed with you, to be remembered forever, and among them don’t miss some of the French soccer players who have participated in the World Cup.

In the afternoon enjoy a Half-day excursion to the Centre Technique National Fernand Sastre located in the small village of Clairefontaine. This is the place where the French Soccer team gathers and trains before international games and international competitions. It has become very famous since the French victory at the World Cup in 1998 when thousands of supporters were waiting for the bus at night after each game played by the National team. A snack will be served to you after the guided tour of the facilities.

Overnight Paris.

Day 5

In the morning depart Paris for the Loire Valley. Visit the Château de Chambord, the biggest chateau in the region, built by King François the 1st.

Continue your trip for a tour of the Château de Cheverny. Later in the afternoon attend the dog feeding. Around seventy hunting dogs live in Cheverny. The dogs are half English foxhound and half French Poitou. They are taken out hunting twice a week in winter, the hunting season. Afterwards you will visit the château which was Hergé’s model for Moulinsart as well the Tintin permanent exhibition.

Overnight in Tours.

Day 6

In the morning continue your trip to Nantes, en-route visit the troglodyte village of Louresse Rochemenier. The village is situated on a plain where you can visit 2 ancient farms with dwellings and “out-buildings” cut into the rock, a farm yard with animals, an underground chapel and a modernised troglodyte house showing how it is still possible to use this kind of dwelling today.

In the afternoon you will arrive in Nantes and explore the town centre. See the castle of the Duke of Brittany, the old Quartier Bouffay, Passage Pommeraye, Place Graslin and much more.

In the evening enjoy playing a game against a local junior soccer team.

Overnight Nantes.

Day 7

In the morning you will watch the training of the Ligue 1 professional team of the FCNantes Atlantique at “La Jonelière” training camp

In the afternoon enjoy some time at leisure in Nantes and in the evening attend a gameat “La Beaujoire Stadium”, Football Club Nantes.

Overnight Nantes.

Day 8

After breakfast spend the morning exploring La Rochelle’s Old Town and Port. La Rochelle is well known for its postcard-pretty Old Port picture. Protected by the Chaîne tower and the Saint-Nicolas tower, the old port has inspired numerous artists.

This afternoon see and learn about the “Sunday afternoon soccer fever” in a small town between La Rochelle and Royan. All over France every Sunday thousands of local clubs play games in their various leagues.

Later in the afternoon continue your trip to Bordeaux.

Day 9

This morning you will start your soccer training camp at the official training soccer camp of FC Girondins of Bordeaux (6-time France National Champions, former club of the great Zinedine Zidane). The camp has been around for more than 30 years and has become an international reference in soccer camps. Cap Girondins Soccer Camps is approved by the French Department of Sports. There are players at the camp from different European countries, Africa, and America. This diversity helps contribute to the soccer and cultural richness of the Soccer Camp.

Every day you will have 2 sessions of 2 hours soccer training with qualified coaches that will teach the students the technical and tactical aspects of the sport.

Overnight Bordeaux Soccer Camp.

Day 10 – 14

Each day at your soccer training camp you will attend 1 session of 2 hours in the morning and another two hours session in the afternoon.

If a game is played at the Bordeaux stadium with the PRO team during your session, you will be invited for free to see the game. Sometimes, based on their schedule, some of the Bordeaux PRO players stop at the camp after their training session for a half hour of questions and answers with the Soccer Campers, it’s an excellent opportunity to find out what is needed to become a PRO player or what life is like as a PRO soccer player in France.

Day 15

After breakfast board your private coach and transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
