This trip provides an opportunity for students to develop specific skills related to snow skiing/boarding. The students are taught the fundamentals of skiing or snowboarding by professional ski instructors and are actively supervised on the slopes.
Thredbo is an alpine village and ski resort in the Snowy Mountains of south-eastern Australia. The Kosciuszko Express chairlift provides access to ski runs and offers panoramic mountain views year-round.

Day 1
Arrive at Thredbo
Two options depending on arrival time into Thredbo
Option 1– Early Arrival – Pick up lift passes and any rental gear and participate in a ski lesson.
Option 2– Afternoon Arrival – Pick up lift passes and participate in one of the following:
Activity– Winter Scenic Chairlift Ride– Offering stunning views of the Kosciuszko National Park
Activity– Kids Disc Golf– Head over to the exciting and scenic course at Thredbo Golf Course. With similar rules to traditional golf but instead of golf balls it’s frisbees or discs.
Overnight in Thredbo
Day 2
Morning – Ski Lesson. Participate in a ski lesson from Thredbo’s outstanding team of instructors providing the best opportunity to learn or improve your skills, build confidence on the mountain and access lift line priority.
Afternoon – Skiing at leisure. Practice your newly acquired or improved skiing skills at leisure.
Evening – Thredbo Leisure Centre. Enjoy some time on the indoor waterslide or attempt Mission Inflatable (inflatable obstacle course over the indoor pool).
Overnight in Thredbo
Day 3
Morning – Skiing at leisure. Practice your newly acquired or improved skiing skills at leisure
Afternoon – Depart Thredbo
Optional – On return journey if to Canberra or Sydney why not visit Snowy Hydro Discovery Centre.
This state-of-the-art visitor facility showcases the amazing history of the Snowy Mountains Scheme; from the early days of construction through to how it is operated by Snowy Hydro today.
