Day 1

Arrive in New York. On arrival transfer to your hotel and enjoy panoramic sightseeing of all what the city has to offer.

Day 2

This morning visit the Carnegie Hall and learn about its 125 years history. Seeing the famous Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage from various points of view, walk through Composers Alley, hear the stories behind many of the famous signed photographs of performers hanging on the walls, and visit the Rose Museum, where more than 400 Carnegie Hall artefacts are on display.

In the afternoon walk to Times Square and bask in the bright lights and hustle and bustle of New York City.

Day 3

This morning you will have an introduction to New York’s most iconic arts destination, the Lincoln Centre. See the famous concert halls, with potential for performance opportunities. Paving the way to world class performance since 1962, Lincoln Centre invites art experts and newcomers alike to see what it feels like to let art in. Renowned for an eclectic mix of thousands of events held annually and a groundswell of creative energy all throughout the masterfully designed campus, you could visit every day of the year and still only scratch the surface.

In the afternoon you will visit the American Museum of Natural History. Not necessarily performing arts related, yet something definitely not to be missed when visiting New York. The Museum is renowned for its exhibitions and scientific collections, which serve as a field guide to the entire planet and present a panorama of the world’s cultures. It has been featured in a film or two, such as Night at the Museum.

In the evening enjoy a Broadway show. **Show options/availabilities are dependent on the group travel date**

Day 4

Today after breakfast you will visit Liberty Island (Statue of Liberty) and Ellis Island. Enjoy the ferry from Battery Park to Liberty Island and Ellis Island. Along with the opportunity to get off the ferry at each island and explore the Statue of Liberty and the Ellis Island Immigration Museum.

In the afternoon you will visit the 9/11 Memorial and museum. With a walking tour guiding you through the former World Trade Centre where the tragic events of 9/11 took place. You will hear the touching stories of tragedy and heroism of many first responders and other everyday citizens.

Later in the afternoon you will have an opportunity to visit Little Italy or China Town.

Tonight you will have a dinner at Ellen’s Stardust. The home of the world famous singing wait staff and some of the best diner food in the country.

Day 5

In the morning you will visit the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). The Museum of Modern Art is home to the world’s greatest collection of modern and contemporary art. The collection includes Vincent van Gogh’s “The Starry Night” and Andy Warhol’s “Gold Marilyn Monroe”, along with works by Jackson Pollock, Jasper Johns, Cindy Sherman, Elizabeth Murray, and many other great artists of our time. MoMA’s collection also showcases photography, film, architecture, design, media, and performance art.

In the afternoon depart for Orlando.

Day 6

Today you will participate in a workshop at Disneyworld Orlando. There are few workshops to choose from depending on your group focus:

Disney Performing Arts Workshop You’reInstrumental (Music) – Own instruments required – Your group will examine the skills, attitudes and priorities essential to musical excellence. This 2 ½ hour workshop culminates in a very special finale—a recording of your ensemble performing Disney music, accompanied by footage from a classic Disney animated film.

Disney Performing Arts Workshop Disney Sings (Music) – Performers experience the exhilaration and the demands of being a professional performer as they prepare music for a soundtrack recording session. During this 2 ½ hour program, your group will record a song and dialogue from a Disney animated feature film’s soundtrack in a fast-paced recording studio environment.

In the afternoon explore Disney World Hollywood Studios Park at leisure. Take Centre Stage in the Worlds of Movies, Television, Music and Theatre.

Day 7

This morning take part in your second workshop at Disney Performing Arts Performance. Disney Performing Arts Performances set the standard by which all other performance opportunities are measured. Expose your group to the highest level of performance excellence while reinforcing lifelong lessons in teamwork, discipline and artistic growth. After your performance, experience the excitement of Disney’s world-famous theme parks and discover why Walt Disney World Resort is the place where dreams come true.

Later in the afternoon you can explore Disney World Magic Kingdom at leisure and watch the evening fireworks show.

Day 8

Today you will have a full day to explore Universal Studios at leisure.

In the evening you will have a dinner at Hard Rock Café. Located at Universal Studios Orlando in the CityWalk entertainment complex, Hard Rock Cafe Orlando is the biggest Hard Rock Café in the world. With large, statuesque pillars, it stands majestically as a Roman Colosseum of rock, and boasts more pieces of music memorabilia than any other location.

Day 9

Today you will visit Kennedy Space Centre. Kennedy Space Centre Visitor Complex is organised into Mission Zones where attractions and tours are grouped by chronological era. From the dawn of space exploration to current and ongoing missions, you can get an up-close, hands-on feel for the story of humans in space.

The evening will be at leisure. Option to visit Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets.
