This trip provides a combination of learning opportunities for the students. They will develop specific skills related to snow skiing/boarding and they will participate in educational programs and immerse themselves in hands on learning experience.
This itinerary is designed to complement classroom learning using a range of educational techniques along with interactive displays, hands-on activities and role plays.

Welcome to Perisher. Check in to your accommodation and arrange your ski equipment. We can arrange everything from recreational to performance skis and boards; through to clothing and snow play accessories available for you to make the most of your snow holiday.
Tonight enjoy some free time. Maybe you can build a snowman or just enjoy the spectacular views of Kosciusko National Park.
Day 2 – 4
Morning – Ski Lesson. Participate in a ski lesson from an outstanding team of instructors providing the best opportunity tomake your first turn, improve your skills, and build confidence on the mountain and access lift line priority.
Afternoon – Skiing at leisure. Practice your newly acquired or improved skiing skills at leisure.
In the evenings you can go behind the scenes with the groomers’ tour. Once the lifts close for the day, you will see the mountain in a whole new light. You will enjoy a wonderful fireworks show on one of the evenings.
Homemade tasty dinners are provided each night.
Overnight in Perisher
In the morning board your coach and head to Snowy Hydro Discovery Centre for Mountains of Power Program. This program is designed to give visiting students a general introduction to the Snowy Mountains Scheme. This state-of-the-art visitor facility showcases the amazing history of the Snowy Mountains Scheme; from the early days of construction through to how it is operated by Snowy Hydro today.
Continue to Canberra and check in to your accommodation.
In the evening have some fun with Ten Pin Bowling.

In the morningembark on a guided 90-minute tour of the Australian Institute of Sports (AIS). Challenge yourself in Sportex, an educational and engaging sports experience where you can try wheelchair basketball, virtual downhill skiing, rock climbing, football penalty shootouts and more.
Afterwards visit Questacon. With over 200 hands-on exhibits in interactive galleries. With all exhibits promoting science and technology concepts. There is also live Spectacular Science Show, this self-guided experience encourages students to discover the smarter way to have fun!
Later in the afternoon visit the Telstra Tower. Telstra Tower rises 195 metres above the summit of Black Mountain and provides unsurpassed 360-degree views of Canberra and surrounds.
Overnight in Canberra.
This morning you will participate in the Parliament House Program. The role-play, providing students a hands-on experience of how our Parliament works. Exploring the functions, purpose, processes and value of Australia’s democratic system.
Depart Canberra for home.
