Day 1
Arrive in Beijing and transfer to your hotel by private coach for a quick freshen up and then visit Tiananmen Square. The square contains the Monument to the People’s Heroes, the Great Hall of the People, the National Museum of China, and the Mausoleum of Mao Zedong. Outside China, the square is best known for the Tiananmen Square Massacre, an armed suppression of a pro-democracy movement in June 1989.
Later in the afternoon make your way to Hutong for a rickshaw tour. You will visit local families, eat home cooked lunch and learn Beijing folk arts. Afterwards return to your hotel.

Day 2
After breakfast board your private coach for a guided tour of Beijing. You will visit Summer Palace and Forbidden City. The Forbidden City, also known as the Palace Museum, and Gu Gong in Chinese, lies at the city centre of Beijing, and once served as the imperial palace for 24 emperors during the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368 – 1911).
This afternoon head to the National Centre for the Performing Arts Beijing for a workshop and a tour of Beijing’s most remarkable Concert Hall. The National Centre for the Performing Arts is colloquiallydescribed as The Giant Egg, is an arts centre containing an opera house in Beijing, People’s Republic of China
Tonight you will be attending one of the fabulous performances at the Concert Hall.

Day 3
After breakfast, visit the Temple of Heaven an imperial complex of religious buildings situated in the south-eastern part of central Beijing.
In the afternoon you will be transferred to the Forbidden City Concert Hall. Before your performance tonight you will have some rehearsal time. This is a wonderful venue for performances of classical and traditional Chinese music, as well as highly rated musicians from abroad. It’s also one of the city’s best venues for acoustics.

Day 4
After breakfast you will visit the Great Wall (built mid-6th century). Students will enjoy the walk on this incredible man-made structure and admire the views across countryside and into neighbouring countries.
Enjoy lunch in a local Chinese restaurant and return to Beijing for some leisure time before dinner at one of Beijing’s most well-known Peking Duck restaurants.

Day 5
After breakfast board your coach for a transfer to the train station. Today you will travel on the famous high-speed train to Shanghai. On arrival you will be met by your guide and transfer to Wuzhen. Your guide will take you on a walking tour around Wuzhen. Wuzhen is a historic scenic town, one of the six famous ancient water towns south of Yangtze River.
Later in the afternoon head to the Grand Theatre Wuzhen and prepare for your concert tonight. Completed in May 2013, the theatre is already considered by many to be the most beautiful theatre in China, and sure to be among the most noted theatre venues around the world.
Return to your hotel after your performance.
Overnight in Shanghai
Day 6
After breakfast, enjoy a full day at Shanghai Disneyland. Shanghai Disneyland the sixth in the world and the first in mainland China. The Park creates many records among the existing Disney parks. It has the tallest theme castle, the Enchanted Storybook Castle, the first garden-designed zone and the first pirate-themed garden. It also combines movie figures with Chinese elements, like the Chinese Zodiac Murals in the Gardens of Imagination. There are altogether seven themed attractions inside the park.
In the evening board your coach and return to your hotel.

Day 7
After breakfast you will be transferred to Shanghai Oriental Art Centre for your rehearsal prior to tomorrow’s concert. The centre it is one of the leading performing arts and cultural facilities in China. Viewed from above, the complex resembles a butterfly, with the four halls representing the sections of wings.
This afternoon you will visit the 400-year-old Yu Gardens,also known as the ‘Garden of Happiness’. Later you will have some free time for shopping at the nearby markets.
Tonight you will see an acrobatics show. Catch a performance by experienced acrobats who do breathtaking aerial tricks, balancing acts, juggling and more.

Day 8
This morning after breakfast head to Shanghai Oriental Art Centre for your morning concert performance.
After the performance, enjoy some free time for sightseeing and souvenir shopping along Nanjing Road. There is a plethora of Shanghai’s malls, this is a favourite for locals and tourists alike for fashion, electronics, and other gadgets. Work on your bargaining skills!

Board your coach and transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
